The Trump Organization’s New Deal in Saudi Arabia
Explore the latest developments surrounding The Trump Organization’s business deal in Saudi Arabia, uncovering the details of this new venture and its potential impact on international relations.
The Trump Organization has recently entered into a new agreement with a prominent Saudi real estate company to construct a luxurious residential high-rise tower in the vibrant city of Jeddah. This new venture further strengthens the Trump family’s longstanding ties with the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia has emerged as a reliable source of growth for the Trump family’s business ventures, especially in the wake of reduced real estate activities in the United States following the events of January 6, 2021, and the departure of former President Donald J. Trump from the White House.
This latest deal mirrors the international projects that the Trump family has undertaken in the past decade. It involves leveraging the family’s prestigious name and brand to collaborate with a well-funded developer who will oversee the construction of the project. The aim is to market luxury residential units, potentially at premium prices, capitalizing on the appeal of the former president’s recognized influence.
Notable projects in a similar vein include a resort complex in Oman and Saudi-backed golf tournaments held at Trump-owned courses in recent years.
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with the Trump Organization and diversify our real estate portfolio by introducing upscale properties to redefine Saudi Arabia’s flourishing real estate sector,” stated Ziad El Chaar, the CEO of Dar Global, the real estate firm involved in the collaboration.
The target audience for this project, according to Mr. El Chaar, will encompass international investors and holidaymakers seeking to invest in real estate in Jeddah.
Dar Global, headquartered in London, operates as a subsidiary of Dar Al Arkan, a leading private real estate company in Saudi Arabia with a significant portfolio of luxury projects worldwide. The company frequently collaborates with renowned brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Lamborghini to attract affluent buyers.
