A devastating Russian missile attack on a small town in southeastern Ukraine has resulted in a tragic toll. The assault, followed by a fiery inferno, claimed the lives of at least seven civilians, including three children, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Deadly Consequences
The chief doctor of Zaporizhzhia Regional Children’s Hospital, Yuriy Borzenko, reported that in addition to the fatalities, numerous individuals were wounded in the attack on the town of Vilniansk. Among the injured are a pregnant woman and five 14-year-old girls, who were out for a walk when the explosions struck, engulfing the town in chaos.

President Zelensky’s Call for Action
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has urged for the relaxation of restrictions on the use of long-range American missiles, such as ATACMS. He emphasized the need for Ukraine to be able to target Russian warplanes at air bases preemptively, before they launch bombing missions.
