Although it is still some time before the introduction of the Galaxy S25 series, the rumors about the processors to be used have started to arouse curiosity. According to the leaked information in recent days, it was rumored that Samsung would not produce its own Exynos processors for the Galaxy S25 and therefore only Snapdragon processors would be used.

A new report claims that Samsung may use a MediaTek chipset in the Galaxy S25 series. According to the report, this will be valid for some models in certain regions. So far, Samsung has released the Galaxy S series with Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in most regions, but there were also Exynos-supported models in some regions.

  • Samsung previously launched the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus models with Exynos 2400 processors.
  • It is stated that in some versions of the Galaxy S25 series, 3 different chips may be used.
  • The increase in the price of Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship chips and the production issues with Exynos could be reasons for Samsung to opt for various chips.

Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy S25 series could use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Exynos 2500 processors. Some analysts, however, suggested that Qualcomm could supply chips for the entire Galaxy S25 series.

It should be noted that all these rumors are not yet confirmed, and we need to wait to learn the truth.
