Google is adding new features to the Chrome Mobile Application.

Google continues to enhance the search experience by adding new features to the mobile application of the web browser Chrome for Android and iOS platforms.

Quick Search with Chrome Actions

Google has developed a feature called Chrome Actions aiming to speed up search processes. For example, when you search for a restaurant, Chrome will quickly show buttons displaying the name, address, and phone number of the restaurant, allowing you to easily access the information you need. This feature will be available to users in the fall.

Customized Search Results

Chrome has started to provide users with tailored results faster by using hints when searching for a specific website. For instance, if you want to see ferry schedules, simply typing “schedules” will be enough, and Google will quickly provide you with information regarding transportation schedules. This feature is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Refreshed Address Bar for Large Screens

For Android tablets and iPads, Chrome has revamped the address bar to make better use of large screens. The refreshed address bar is designed to be compatible with the Material You application and appears as an overlay on top of the website you are visiting. This allows you to perform a Google search within the website or quickly switch to another page.

Discover Feed Update

Chrome’s Discover Feed feature has been updated with live sports cards. Now, you will receive automatic updates about matches of sports teams you follow or are interested in. This makes it easier to stay informed about the matches of your favorite teams.
