Elon Musk is a figure who manages to create an agenda with almost every step he takes. However, some of Elon Musk’s actions may not actually belong to the real Elon Musk. Some scammers who produce Deepfake videos with the help of artificial intelligence have started using fake videos of Elon Musk to create speculation in the cryptocurrency market.

A fake video, published on YouTube and made to look like it was taken from a 5-hour meeting of Musk, claimed that Musk was explaining a plan to his business partners to invest in a certain cryptocurrency. This fake video was taken down shortly after, but during that time, it is known that many people invested in the cryptocurrency mentioned in the video, thinking they had a great opportunity for wealth.

Elon Musk has been known in the past for making statements and speculations to increase the value of Dogecoin. He was also penalized by the SEC for speculations he made on Tesla’s shares. When Musk bought Twitter, he briefly created excitement by changing the platform’s logo to the Dogecoin logo.

Anything can be possible with fake videos. This incident has raised concerns that not only fake videos can be produced against Elon Musk, but also against other individuals for economic and political deception. It is important to raise awareness in society about this issue and to make necessary legal regulations.
