Microsoft Boosts Windows 11 with Wi-Fi 7 Support
Microsoft is accelerating Windows 11 with Wi-Fi 7 support. Enhance your internet speed with the new Wi-Fi standard and maximize the performance of Windows 11.
Microsoft is integrating the new technology aiming to achieve high wireless speeds offered by Wi-Fi 7 into the latest version of Windows 11. The upcoming update of Windows 11, version 24H2, will include Wi-Fi 7 support. Currently, this version is only available on Copilot+ computers, but it is planned to be offered to all Windows 11 users with a major update scheduled for 2024.
No Wi-Fi 7 News for Windows 10 Users
It is stated that Microsoft will only provide Wi-Fi 7 support with Windows 11’s 24H2 version. This means that Windows 10 users will not be able to benefit from the Wi-Fi 7 feature. The end of support for Windows 10 and the absence of Wi-Fi 6E support indicate that Wi-Fi 7 will not be introduced for this operating system.
It is important to note that in order to use Wi-Fi 7 in Windows 11, you need to have a router and computer that support the new wireless standard.
