Problems Continue with the Luxury Cybertruck Worth $80,000

Elon Musk’s attention-grabbing electric truck, Cybertruck, is not only in the spotlight for its ugly appearance but also for technical issues. The vehicle, which was released about six months ago, has received a second recall warning, affecting more than 11,000 vehicles this time.

Previously recalled due to a design flaw in the accelerator pedal, the vehicles are now facing issues with the front windshield wiper motors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a recall warning on June 19, affecting a total of 11,688 Cybertrucks. The problematic component was the front windshield wiper motor because according to the identified error, “the wiper motor may stop working due to electrical overvoltage in the door component.

The recall covers all Cybertrucks produced between November 13, 2023, and June 6, 2024. So, almost all Cybertruck owners are affected.

  • When Will the Repairs Begin?

Cybertruck owners will be officially informed about the recall starting from August 18. Tesla will replace the front windshield wiper motors for owners at no cost. This detail may seem small to you, but the failure of the wiper motor to work in heavy rain can lead to serious problems. Therefore, the repair is seen as an important step to be taken.
