Mod Developers are Trying to Revive the First The Crew Game
The Crew game does not feature an offline mode.
The servers of the racing action game The Crew, offered to players by Ubisoft, were officially shut down on March 31, 2024, as you may know. After this process, access to the game was restricted, and unfortunately, it became unplayable due to the lack of an offline mode. Even players who purchased the game were disabled. Mod developers want to save players from this situation.
The Crew game does not have an offline mode
After the shutdown of the first The Crew game, many players and fans switched to The Crew 2 or The Crew Motorfest games. Even if you have a digital copy of the first game or even a physical copy, unfortunately, you cannot play it.
Following these developments, whammy4, who appeared as a content creator and mod developer on the YouTube platform, shared a new video. This video shows that the game is running on an emulator. Looking at the details in the video, the player takes a small journey from Detroit to Black Hills, and most features seem to work fine.
It is not clear when the server-supported emulator experience developed for The Crew will be available to users. We expect more details to be presented to us in the future.
