Russian Cities Hit by Ukrainian Drone and Missile Attacks

Russian authorities reported that six people died and over 100 were wounded in Ukrainian drone and missile attacks on Sunday. The attacks included falling debris from Ukrainian missiles that were shot down over a coastal area in Sevastopol, a port city in Russia-annexed Crimea. Additionally, one person died in Grayvoron city in Russia’s Belgorod region due to the attacks. The city of Sevastopol saw 151 people wounded, with rocket fragments causing a forest fire and damaging a residential building.

Continued Aerial Bombing of Kharkiv

Kharkiv faced a fresh attack that killed at least one person and wounded 11 on Sunday. This attack followed a previous strike on Saturday afternoon that hit a residential building, resulting in the deaths of three people. Mayor Ihor Terekhov mentioned that around half of Kharkiv was left without electricity due to the recent strike. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for support in bolstering the country’s air defenses following the attacks on Kharkiv.

Furthermore, the Russian warehouse used for launching and storing Iranian-designed Shahed drones in the Krasnodar region was reportedly destroyed by Ukrainian forces, resulting in casualties among training instructors and cadets. The Ukrainian Navy released photos confirming the destruction of the warehouse. Moscow has not yet commented on the incident.
