The Wave of Resignations and Pressure to Return to the Office

Many employees who have gotten used to working from home do not want to return to the office, and some are quitting just because of this reason. According to a survey by BambooHR, many companies are not managing the return-to-office process in a planned manner and are expecting employees to resign after being called back. However, in some cases, the expected resignation rates may not materialize.

Especially in the technology, gaming, and online commerce sectors, hundreds of thousands of people were laid off in 2023. This situation has become a burden for companies struggling to cope with shrinking economies and rising inflation, despite the rapid growth of digital services during the pandemic.
