This situation raises concerns about the reduction in investments.

According to a new report published by Android Central, Sony is not inclined to invest heavily in virtual headsets. The company, considering that VR development may hit a snag at some point, is preparing to offer users a limited number of games.
Sony’s biggest move in developing VR technology was with Horizon: Call of the Mountain and the release of PlayStation VR2. However, it is noted that the company has been lacking in both hardware and software since then. Now, a new PC adapter is said to be released for the virtual headset by the end of this year.

The current PC adapter will be available for sale on August 7th and will be sold through specific retailers. It is reported that this adapter will have a price tag of $60 on the PlayStation website.
