The company has made one of its first major investments in the Japanese video game market by bringing on board the talented employees of Tango Gameworks. With this strategic move, KRAFTON has also acquired the rights to Tango Gameworks’ acclaimed game Hi-Fi RUSH.
Founded in 2010, Tango Gameworks is a game development studio that has proven itself with notable titles such as the rhythm-based action game Hi-Fi RUSH, the survival horror games The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2, as well as the action-adventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo. The studio became part of Xbox after being acquired by ZeniMax in 2021.
The standout game from Tango Gameworks, Hi-Fi RUSH, has received great acclaim from players worldwide. This rhythm action fighting game has garnered a wide player base by receiving ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam. Hi-Fi RUSH has been honored with multiple prestigious awards, including ‘Best Animation’ at the BAFTA Game Awards, and ‘Best Audio Design’ and ‘Best Audio’ at The Game Awards in the Game Developers Choice Awards category.
